VAST Project, in the context of the Pilot focusing on the Scientific Revolution Texts, organized an educational activity in the 2nd High School of Gerakas in Athens, on 4 April 2023.

During the activity, VAST project collaborating researcher D. Petakos of NCSR Demokritos presented to 46 students of the 2nd grade the theories of Galileo and Aristotle through the project educational activity ‘Clash of the Titans: Aristotle meets Galileo’. The students then engaged in interactive activities and brainstorming, resulting in the creation of mind maps that interconnect moral values between the past and the present.

With the creative collaboration of the school’s teachers and the students, the activity provided a fresh view of how values emerging from scientific revolution texts are perceived in modern society today.
