The VAST project participated in DARIAH Annual Event 2023: Cultural Heritage Data as Humanities Research Data between 6-9 June in Budapest, Hungary.
The VAST project actively engaged in discussions, talks and presentations regarding the project’s methodology and objectives. More specifically, on Day 1 our team was located at the poster area where they had the opportunity to present and discuss on “Digitizing the values of cultural artifacts” & “Integrating museum activities on ICH with data-driven research on early modern scientific texts”.
Moreover, VAST partners presented an abstract in session 6: “Exploring Digital Heritage: Innovations in Digitization and Data Services” and Dr. Maria Dagioglou, of coordinator NCSR Demokritos, gave an informative talk on the “The VAST methodology & workflows for experience digitisation”.
The DARIAH event was an enriching experience that provided us with valuable feedback and in-depth knowledge on significant topics, such as: Sustainable workflows for data management and curation, Imagining experimental data spaces for cultural heritage and Advancing digital methods for cultural heritage analysis.
